A while back I was asked to look at a FB ad account to see if it could be salvaged.
Theyโd been running the campaign for 3 months, spending close to 3k/month on ads.ย
The campaign was only โkind ofโ spitting out a few leads here and there, and they were thinking about just scrapping FB altogether.
Sadly, this happens all the time and folks just throw in the towel because they think that FB ad wonโt work for their biz, or that their clients just arenโt on FB (thereโs over 2B users, so yes, they are ๐).
But usually thereโs an easy fix, and itโs almost always one (or all) of these 3 things:
1๏ธโฃ Your audience is too small for the budget that youโre running
๐ if youโre targeting 100k people with $100/day, pretty much everyone in that audience will have seen your ads (and be sick of them) within a couple of weeks
๐ which means your campaign will stop converting and ad costs will start to go up ๐
2๏ธโฃ Youโre targeting the wrong audience
๐ possibly due to lack of research and understanding how to properly target on FB
๐ OR, more likely, you have too many โtargeting optionsโ selected (this actually confuses the FB algorithm and can cause your ads to stall)
3๏ธโฃ B-O-R-I-N-G
๐ your ads suck (sorry ๐ฌ)
This is actually the most common problemโฆย
๐ you talk too much about yourself/your business in your ad copy
๐ youโre not telling people the BENEFIT that they will get by signing up, getting in touch, downloading your video/ebook, etc.ย
๐ youโre not painting a CLEAR picture of how their life will be better with YOU in in ๐
Hope that helps. Questions? Ask away!
